Binzhongluo And Laomuden

After enjoying the pass and the Daocheng we motored through to Bingzhongluo, the trip was nice apart from two separate individuals on two occasions trying to kill us in our lane, one car pulled out around a truck on the outside of a corner head on into us, I braked and swerved and somehow we made the bike skinny enough not to hit, how the fuck we didn’t have a head on is still a mystery (warning swear alert to woman, turn the other way for the next bit)

It was all my power not to turn around chase him and kick the cunt to within an inch of his life, I was wild and shaking, too close for me for someone else stupidity.

Driver no2, just watch the click, nothing more needs to be said other than he was fucken retarded.

Rant over, Bingzhongluo, touristy town right on the border to Tibet, we did ride right to the border to have a look then turned around, last time I did this at the bottom of North Korea I was met by nice young fellas with big guns…but they were cool.

It is very hard to get into Tibet, defo nogo for a whiteyfoo unless you are formally invited, even Chinese need a permit etc.

Leaving Bingzhongluo we continued on the famous route 219 for 220km, this is only one stretch of a river 1000s of km long, the river is called the angry river, today after rain we could see why.

I looked at our speedo and we were doing 81 kmph, that was the speed of the pressure waves rocketing along beside us, I was astounded how fast the flow was.

Our desto for today was Laomuden, a small village way up in the middle of nowhere…well somewhere. There are abandoned house etc as a tourist attraction so we for a purve, it was a 4 km walk which was awesome to stretch the legs and swap out some air in the lungs.

Reaching the township it was pissing down, a small café was a sight for wet bones so a real fruit drink and a plate of fries was in order.

Returning to home base the rain had cleared and the mountain tops exposed, were literally one mountain away from Myanmar.

Last vid of along the way.
